Frigid temperatures with highs only in the single digits in the mountains to lower 20s in southern Maryland. Remaining frigid, despite plenty of sunshine Wednesday. Highs in the lower teens in the mountains to the lower 20s in the Virginia Piedmont and southern Maryland. Not as cold but temperatures still below average on Thursday. Becoming partly cloudy. |
