A few rounds of showers and thunderstorms, some strong to severe, will develop and move across our region today and tonight. The main threats will be damaging winds, large hail, and heavy rainfall. High temperatures will range from near 80 to the upper 80s. A surface cold front will move through the region on Saturday. Additional showers and thunderstorms could form ahead of and along this front. The threats remain to be damaging winds, large hail, and heavy rainfall. Highs Saturday will also reach the middle to upper 80s. A gusty southwest breeze ahead of the front Saturday is expected to become a gusty northwest breeze Sunday into early next week. Cooler temperatures on Sunday with highs in the 70s. High pressure will build in during the early to middle portions of next week. A low pressure system is expected to bring more unsettled weather to the region during the middle of next week. |
